Description

This PR adds a complete merchandise store to the Recode Hive website with Shopify integration. Users can browse products, add items to cart, and checkout through Shopify. The store includes product filtering, sorting, and a responsive shopping cart interface.

New Pages & Components

1. Merch Store Page (src/pages/merch/index.tsx)

   • Hero section with stats (100% Quality, Worldwide Shipping, Eco-Friendly)
   • Product grid with filtering and sorting
   • Shopping cart integration
   • Loading states and error handling

2. Product Components (src/components/merch/)

   • ProductCard.tsx - Individual product display with variants and like button
   • ProductGrid.tsx - Responsive grid layout with empty state
   • FilterBar.tsx - Category filtering and sorting controls
   • ShoppingCart.tsx - Slide-out cart with quantity controls and checkout

3. Shopify Integration (src/lib/shopify.ts)

   • Complete Storefront API integration
   • Product fetching with GraphQL
   • Checkout creation and management
   • Cart operations (add, update, remove)

Navigation Updates

• Added "🛍️ Merch Store" link to "More" dropdown menu in navigation

Configuration

• Added Shopify credentials to docusaurus.config.ts customFields
• Updated .env.example with Shopify configuration template
• Configured environment variables for secure credential management

Styling

• Custom CSS with responsive breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Dark mode support with theme-aware colors
• Smooth animations using Framer Motion
• Consistent design with existing site theme

• 8 product images (t-shirts, hoodies, accessories) in static/img/merch/

• The Shopify integration uses the Storefront API which is designed for public use. The credentials in docusaurus.config.ts use environment variables with fallback values for development. For production deployment, set these environment variables in your hosting platform:
